These animations were created for a project in my motion design class. We were tasked with creating three moving posters for a cause/event of our choosing. The moving posters I designed were to conceptualize a new visual identity for the Chasing Summer Music Festival in Calgary. The goal was to produce recognizable design elements that were cohesive and engaging to shape the brand identity of Chasing Summer.

The simplicity and strength of the identity’s combinations of typography, colour, and visual elements were maintained throughout the animating process.

The majority of this project was completed in Touch Designer, a node-based visual programming language. This was mainly due to my want to explore the software and because many of the tour visuals at EDM concerts are created using Touch Designer.
